What data can be collected through the GPS monitoring system?

The installed GPS module in a vehicle records the following parameters:

  • Location;
  • Mileage;
  • Speed;
  • Stops and their duration;
  • Fuel level (via connection to the built-in sensor, installation of capacitive sensors, or flow meters);

What happens when a vehicle leaves the GSM coverage area?

If the device enters an area without GSM coverage, it continues to store data from all sensors in its internal memory. The memory is sufficient to retain data for up to two weeks of full operation. Once the vehicle re-enters the coverage area, all data is automatically sent to the server.

Is there a warranty for the equipment?

When you purchase the equipment, you receive a 1-year warranty from the date of installation. Warranty terms are outlined in the sales agreement.

What does the subscription fee cover?

The fee covers continuous server operation, data processing and storage, and system maintenance.

Is the subscription fee fixed?

We do not have hidden fees or additional charges. The exact cost is communicated to you by our manager and does not increase later. We offer three tariff plans to enhance your fleet management: “Roaming,” “Within the Country,” and the minimum “Data Retention” plan (for inactive vehicles).

How many users can access the monitoring program?

There is no limit. The system does not require software installation on individual computers. Access is available from any internet-enabled device using a login and password, which you can share at your discretion.

Can the monitoring equipment be customized on request?

We strive to accommodate all your needs and ideas. Any custom requirements, outlined in a Technical Specification, will be reviewed by our specialists and may be included in our development plan.

Can I view where the vehicle was one or two months ago?

Yes, absolutely. All routes and stops will be displayed on your computer through reports, with the option to export data to Excel. You can access this information at any time.

Can I track my vehicles everywhere?

You can track vehicles anywhere GPS coverage is available. GPS signals cover 100% of the Earth’s surface. However, GPS reception may be limited inside buildings, tunnels, and similar areas. You will still be able to see when the vehicle entered and exited areas with poor signal reception.

How does the system receive vehicle data?

The equipment installed on the vehicle sends GPS and sensor data via a GPRS connection. If the GPRS connection is interrupted (e.g., in an area without network coverage), data is stored in the device’s memory and sent to the server once the connection is restored.

How frequently is location and status information updated?

The device transmits data to the server at intervals adapted to the situation (e.g., straight-line travel, turning), optimizing traffic usage. Updates typically occur every 2 to 5 seconds.

How long is data stored in the system?

Data is stored for one year.

Can the onboard terminal be installed discreetly from the driver?

Yes, it can. However, there are challenges in installing the GPS antenna under metal surfaces (e.g., hood, trunk). The instrument panel varies by vehicle, and metal-plated plastic can obstruct GPS signals. Experimental installation may be required. In our experience, discreet installation is often unnecessary since drivers are more disciplined knowing the device is installed.

Can the system support vehicles with two fuel tanks?

Yes, absolutely.
