Accounting Based on Standards

The satellite monitoring system accurately tracks all movements of mobile objects and engine idle time. Based on this data, the system calculates the standard fuel consumption.

This method is typically used to simplify fuel cost accounting and is applied in organizations where strict control over fuel consumption is not required.

CAN Bus

Reading data from built-in fuel sensors via the CAN bus allows for more precise fuel level monitoring. This method serves as a good alternative to flow meters and fuel level sensors in cases where their installation is not possible. For vehicles under warranty, a contactless connection to the CAN bus is performed.

Fuel Level Sensor

Installing a fuel level sensor (FLS) is the most advanced and technologically efficient way to monitor fuel consumption. The readings from the FLS provide the most accurate reflection of fuel use, allowing precise detection of refueling and unauthorized fuel drains. Vehicles equipped with two fuel tanks may require an FLS for each tank to ensure more accurate monitoring.

Flow Meter

Flow fuel meters are integrated into the fuel system to record the amount of fuel consumed. Diesel vehicles are equipped with either two flow meters or a single differential flow meter to account for fuel returned to the tank from the engine. These meters are primarily used on various types of specialized machinery, ships, and locomotives.
