How Does It Work?
Using a consolidated report and comparative fuel analytics based on fuel card transactions and the actual fuel consumption data collected from ViaTEC service equipment installed on vehicles, companies can prevent unauthorized refueling and cash withdrawals by drivers. Automated online data reconciliation saves both time and money by improving fuel consumption control, streamlining employee workload, and offering convenient analytics.
All the client needs to do is provide the fuel card numbers to the dealer. Once done, all transaction data—including refueling time, fuel price, quantity, and even the gas station’s coordinates—will automatically be sent to the Online transport monitoring system. The new refueling report is available in the “personal account” and, unlike a standard report, this document provides reconciled data between fuel cards and fuel level sensor readings.
