This Policy explains what personal data ViaTEC service SRL collects through the website viatec.md and in the course of providing its services, for what purposes the data is processed, who it is shared with, and what rights you have as a data subject.

2. Legal framework
We process personal data in accordance with Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 195/2024 on the Protection of Personal Data, applicable from 23 August 2026, which replaced Law No. 133/2011. For data subjects located in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) applies in addition.

We do not collect special categories of data through the website (health, biometric, criminal record data, etc.). The website is not intended for persons under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Please note: if you are an employee or another individual whose data is processed in a client’s monitoring system, the controller of that data is the client itself (your employer). You exercise your rights primarily towards them; we provide the client with the necessary assistance.

6. Who we share data with
- our hosting provider and the contractor responsible for website maintenance;
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — web analytics (Google Analytics 4) and web fonts, only where you have given consent;
- monitoring platform providers and equipment manufacturers — to the extent necessary to deliver services and warranty support;
- accounting, audit, legal advisers and courier companies — to the extent necessary;
- public authorities — upon a lawful and justified request.
Data processing agreements are in place with all contractors processing data on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.
7. Transfers outside the Republic of Moldova
Some of our providers are located outside the Republic of Moldova, including in European Union countries and the USA. Such transfers are made only to countries ensuring an adequate level of protection, or on the basis of standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards, in accordance with the cross-border transfer provisions of Law No. 195/2024.
8. Your rights
- Right to information and access — to find out whether we process your data and to obtain a copy of it.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”).
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object to processing, including to direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- Right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you.
- Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority and to an effective judicial remedy.
How to exercise them: send your request to info@viatec.md with the subject line “Personal data”. We respond within 30 calendar days; in complex cases the period may be extended with prior notice. To protect your data, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

10. Data security
We apply technical and organisational safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access rights segregation, regular backups, firewall and website monitoring, software updates, staff training, and confidentiality commitments for employees and contractors.

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page; we will announce material changes on the website. We recommend reviewing this page from time to time.
